Oak
Bay Cruising Club is dedicated to providing longer distance sail
cruising opportunities to more experienced sailors who are ready to
explore the beautiful coastline and offshore waters of the West Coast.

In 2009, we cruised to Alaska and circumnavigated Vancouver Island.
In 2010, we circumnavigated the island and cruised to the Broughtons
In 2011, we have cruised to Prince Rupert, and returned via West Coast Vancouver Island, a round trip of some 1200 miles.
In 2012, we are planning to enter the Vic-Maui race (cruising section). See www.vicmaui.org

The recommended starting experience level for the longer cruises is Coastal Skipper. Cruise fees include advanced course instruction up to and including Yachtmaster.
